Patients may leave a message on Dr. Taylor’s 24-hour, confidential voicemail to make, reschedule, or cancel an appointment (512) 343-8505. Dr. Taylor will personally return your phone call.
Emergencies
If you experience a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Payment
Dr. Taylor accepts credit and debit cards only (or PayFlex) at the time of the appointment — no cash or checks are accepted.
Office Hours
All office visits are by appointment only. Flexible evening and Saturday appointments are also available.
Insurance
Dr. Taylor accepts many insurance plans, including:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and other states
- PCHS
- Multiplan
- Beech Street
If you are a new patient calling to make an appointment, Dr. Taylor will assist you over the phone on how to inquire about your insurance benefits.
Questions to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- Do I have a preexisting condition clause on my policy?
- If yes, the insurance company may ask me for a certificate of credible coverage proving that I have held continuous health insurance coverage for a certain period of time.
- Do I have a deductible?
- Do I need to pay the doctor a co-pay, co-insurance, or percentage, per visit?
- Do I need a pre-authorization number from my insurance company for outpatient psychiatry?
- What is the mailing address where the mental health insurance claim should be sent?
- Does my insurance cover out-of-network providers? Is Dr. Taylor in-network or out-of-network?
- For out-of-network benefits, please check with your insurance company to determine whether you qualify for reimbursement.
